Pastor Hill graduated from Greenville Presbyterian Theological Seminary in May 2016 and is the former pastor of Landis Presbyterian Church in Marion NC. The Lord called Bill to pastor Fellowship in July 2017.
Bill is married to Gwen — his wife and best friend. They were married on April 9, 1998, and have three children: Danielle (married and living in China), Jennifer (running her own business in VA), and Bryan (residing in VA). Bill's parents are currently enjoying retirement in the Sunshine State, and his wife’s mother is living in New York with her husband, and her father is residing in New Jersey. Their siblings are living all over the country, from NY, NJ, and FL.
Bill was raised in a Christian home as the oldest of two children. His upbringing was baptistic, and His family attended an independent Baptist church for most of his childhood. Bill made a profession of faith at the age of eight but spent most of the next 12 years disproving that profession. Due to his religious upbringing, he never heard of the doctrines of grace, Calvinism, or Reformed and Presbyterian teaching. The Lord brought him to an understanding of the Reformed faith when he was 21 years of age, and he has been drinking deeply from that well ever since.
Bill met his wife when he was 19 — she was a small town girl, and he was the rebellious city-bred hard head. The Lord used that meeting and eventual marriage to bring me back to Him.
Bill enjoys playing the game of chess as well as a round of golf when he can find the time. He also enjoys watching Major League Baseball always rooting for the New York Yankees. He is an avid reader and is trying to expand his reading beyond religious subjects.
